
(AA) – Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemariam Desalegn arrived in Djibouti on Saturday on a visit to the Horn of Africa country.
Desalegn was welcomed at the airport by Djiboutian President Ismail Omar Guelleh.
The two countries are expected to sign five cooperation agreements on economic integration, transport, power and energy and foreign relations.
“The agreements are expected to be signed by Desalegn and Djiboutian President Guelleh,” a Djiboutian diplomat told The Anadolu Agency.
Most exports and imports of landlocked Ethiopia are transported through the Port of Djibouti. Ethiopia sells electric power to Djibouti.
