(AA) – Italian clubs Napoli and Fiorentina, Ukrainian sides Dynamo Kiev and Dnipro, Russian team Zenit Saint Petersburg, Germany’s Wolfsburg, Spanish club Sevilla and Belgian team Club Brugge all qualified for the quarterfinal phase of the UEFA Europa League on Thursday night.

Belgian team Club Brugge skipped past Besiktas, 3-1, in the Europa League Round of 16 second leg in Istanbul, knocking the Turkish team out of the tournament, with a 5-2 score on aggregate. 

In addition, the highest attendance record in a Europa League game was broken in the Dynamo Kiev – Everton match that drew 67,553 spectators to the game.

Europa League quarterfinal draws will be made on Friday in Nyon, Switzerland, and the games will be played on April 16 and 23.
