(AA) – The UEFA Disciplinary Body suspended Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic on Thursday for one match after his red card in the Champions League game against English heavyweights Chelsea.
Ibrahimovic was directly sent off after tac
kling Chelsea midfielder Oscar in the 31st minute of the game in London on March 11.
The Paris Saint-Germain ace will miss his team’s first-leg match in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
PSG full-back Serge Aurier was also suspended for three matches after using pejorative terms on social media against the match’s referee, Bjorn Kuipers.
