Formula 1: Chinese Grand Prix to be held on Sunday

The 3rd race of the Formula 1 season Chinese Grand Prix is set to take place in Shangai on Sunday.

 (AA) – The 3rd race of the Formula 1 season Chinese Grand Prix is set to take place in Shangai on Sunday.

The race at Shanghai International Circuit will begin at 0700 GMT.

Mercedes’ British driver Lewis Hamilton won the first GP of the season in Australia on March 15.

Hamilton’s teammate, German Nico Rosberg, was the runner-up and Ferrari’s German driver Sebastian Vettel completed the race in third place in Melbourne.

Ferrari’s Vettel was victorious in the second race of the season, Malaysian Grand Prix, which was held at Sepang International Circuit on March 29.

Putting the Italian team over the top of the podium in Malaysia after 22 months, Vettel took his first victory at Ferrari where he was transferred at the beginning of this season.

Hamilton was the runner-up in Malaysia and another Mercedes driver Rosberg came in third.
