(AA) – At least 10 people were killed and scores others were injured late Monday in an airstrike allegedly carried out by Bashar al-Assad’s regime on a hospital in Syria’s Rif Dimashq Governorate, a Syrian opposition group said.
In a statement released Monday, the Syrian Revolution General Commission described the alleged attack in the governorate’s Jayrud town as a “massacre.”
In an earlier statement released on the same day, the commission had said that 11 people were killed and 30 others were injured in regime airstrikes on the Juzef village in the northwestern province of Idlib.
The figures provided by the commission could not be independently verified.
