China’s Xi says hopes for stability in Hong Kong

Chinese President Xi Jinping told Hong Kong Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying that he hopes he upholds national unity and maintains social and political stability, state news agency Xinhua said on Monday.

The two were meeting on the sidelines of the APEC summit in Peruvian capital Lima.
