Turkish, Iraqi PMs discuss counter-terrorism over phone

Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim discussed cooperation on counter-terrorism during a phone call Tuesday with his Iraqi counterpart.

Yildirim and Haider al-Abadi agreed on taking necessary measures against the PKK terrorist group, the Prime Ministry’s Press Office said in a statement.

The two leaders also discussed cooperating in the areas of energy and the economy.
