Kane still confident of catching Salah in Golden Boot race Harry Kane retains firm belief that he can overhaul Mohamed Salah to win the Golden Boot,

The goal was initially awarded to Christian Eriksen but that decision has been overturned by the league’s Goal Accreditation Appeals Panel.

England striker Kane, who has won the Premier League golden boot in each of the past two seasons, now has 25 top-flight goals for the current campaign.

Salah scored his 39th goal of the campaign in all competitions on Wednesday (AEST) as Liverpool knocked Manchester City out of the UEFA Champions League.

And Leicester City striker Vardy – as well as England greats Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker – soon followed suit.
