Belgium beat Brazil 2-1 in Friday’s quarter final match in Kazan to advance to 2018 FIFA World Cup semifinals.
Belgium took an early lead when Brazilian midfielder Fernandinho sent the ball to his own net in the 13th minute.
Belgians doubled the gap in the 31st minute as midfielder Kevin De Bruyne found the net. He made a powerful finish on a counter attack.
Belgium led the first half 2-0.
Led by Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar, Brazil managed to narrow the gap to one in the 76th minute with midfielder Renato Augusto’s header.
Belgium will face France in the semifinals on July 10 in Saint Petersburg.
