Crystal Palace playmaker Eberechi Eze has reportedly told his close friends that he is expected to join Arsenal before the transfer window closes, as per TBR Football.

The Gunners have recently bolstered their attack with the signings of Noni Madueke and Viktor Gyokeres, but they are determined to add more quality to the ranks.

The London giants have already made contact with the representatives of Eze and it has been claimed that the England international is more than open to joining the club.

He has told his close friends that he will be joining Arsenal in the coming weeks. A deal could largely depend on the club recouping funds from player departures.

Eze has a release clause worth £68 million in his contract, but Arsenal are likely to seek a discount on the price. A formal approach could be made to Palace soon.

Arsenal are open to offloading Oleksandr Zinchenko, Reiss Nelson, Fabio Vieira, Karl Hein among others to secure valuable transfer funds.
