It was a moment to savour and cherish as the organisers of the Prize is Right game show had its prize redemption ceremony.

The show had 76 winners coming to redeem their mouth watering prizes as well as cash rewards running into millions of naira.

Speaking at the event, the executive producer of the show and MD of Genesis Studios, Olatubosun Olaegbe, said, “It is all about products and winning. It also gives brand owners the opportunity to showcase their products to a very large audience which makes the show unique. It supports SMEs by giving them the platform to be seen by millions of people watching the show.”

In a similar vein, the series producer, Olatubosun Olasimbo, stated that localising the content was key because it helped with the creativity for the show.

“This is because Nigerians are vibrant and hence the need for it to be unique,” she added.

One of the lucky winners, Victoria Favour, who went home with a fridge, food processor, washing machine, gas cooker and 250,000 naira cash prize, described it as “a dream come true”.

Other prizes won at the event were Smart TVs, routers, furniture sets, generators, kitchen wares, smart phones, food processors and blenders, among others.
