Recruitment Portal has opened as PSC and NPF begun the enlistment of 50,000 Police Constables and Specialists.

NewsOnline Nigeria reports that the Police Service Commission (PSC), in partnership with the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), has officially opened its recruitment portal for candidates seeking to join the Force as Police Constables or Specialist personnel.

The nationwide recruitment drive follows President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directive to enlist 50,000 new officers to strengthen internal security, enhance community policing, and bolster manpower in the fight against rising crime.

The online application portal will remain open from December 15, 2025, to January 25, 2026.

How to Apply: Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Eligibility Check

Applicants must:

  • Be Nigerian citizens by birth

  • Be physically, mentally, and medically fit

  • Be free from financial embarrassment

  • Possess good character and have no criminal record

  • Not be pregnant (for female applicants)

Step 2: Confirm Your Qualifications

General Duty Applicants:

Specialist Applicants:

  • Minimum of four credits including English and Mathematics

  • At least three years of relevant experience

  • Valid Trade Test Certificates
