At this year’s Nigeria Brands Week, local brands will be exploring opportunities in the global market.
According to a statement, the event, which will be hosted by the Institute of Brands Management of Nigeria, has the theme “Positioning Nigerian Brands in the Contemporary Global Market: Issues, Challenges and Strategies” and will commence on December 15, 2023, in Lagos.
The statement added that the event would feature the Nigeria Brands Summit, the National Brands Excellence and Leadership Award, the made-in-Nigeria brands’ exhibition, the Nigeria Brands CEO Awards, and the conferment of honourary fellowship and induction.
Speaking ahead of the weeklong event, the Editor-in-Chief of the IBNM, Desmond Esorougwe, said the Nigeria Brand Summit is a high-level brand thought leadership event designed to solve contemporary brand problems that brand custodians face in today
“NBS is a think tank gathering of great minds who build successful brands. The 2023 edition will focus on positioning Nigeria’s brands in the global market—the issues, challenges, and strategies,” he said.
