A FORMER British Army sniper was killed in an artillery strike during his first mission with a new unit in Ukraine.
Christopher Perryman, 38, came under fire in a position behind the front lines, a source told The Sun.

The dad of one, known as Pezz, joined the Army aged 16 and served in Iraq and Kosovo with the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.
Pezz, who was born in Northern Ireland and grew up in Newcastle, worked as a security guard in Co Durham.
But he left to join the conflict in Ukraine, where he bounced between units.
His sister, Aimee Statt, paid tribute to him following his death last week.
She said: “Our hearts were shattered and our world torn apart.
“We lost Pezz Perryman.
“He died a true hero, fighting a war that was never his to fight.
“I don’t think we as a family will ever get over this.
“He went to Ukraine to help others, and it cost him his life.”
The Foreign Office confirmed that it was supporting the family of a British man who died in Ukraine.
