1998 set of School of Science, Ikirun, Osun State, has unveiled plans to unveil a N500m fundraising for their alma mater.
The plan was disclosed by the senior prefect boy of the set, Najeem Oyewole, while presenting 20 white boards, dusters and markers, worth over N500,000 purchased by the set to the management of the school.
Oyewole, who made the donation on behalf of his colleagues, said other challenges, including constant invasion by burglars, confronting the school would also be given attention.
Speaking on the plans to launch N500m fundraising for the total rehabilitation of the school, another member of the set, Dotun Adeyemi, who said they planned to accomplish the task within two years, added that the figure was arrived at after careful evaluation of the school’s needs.
