An indigenous technology outlet, HPN Technology has said that its new payment terminal, K11 Pro would help foster financial inclusion in the country.
According to a statement, the Director of Operations at HPN Technology, Adeleke Adetula, said this during the launch of the product in Lagos recently.
Adetula, while explaining the features of the POS terminal, expressed optimism that the new product would gain wide acceptance by merchants.
He said, “HPN Technology is a partner to Shenzhen Horizon Technology for the marketing of horizon payment terminal in Nigeria. HPN has been in business for the past three years. We originally registered under the name Horizon Pay.
“The essence of this gathering is to launch our entrant into the market. It is called K11 Pro. K11 Pro is a unique terminal with a large memory. It is good for merchant business. It has a very big screen. This screen is to allow other forms of applications like inventory, to ride on this terminal. This allows payments to be made seamlessly.
“We’re doing this to broaden financial inclusion and also bring new technology because this particular POS is not good for agency banking but for merchants.”
