Global Win, a lottery company, says it has rewarded participants in its maiden lottery programme with a scholarship worth up to N5 million and international passports.
According to the company, the move was to provide a platform for Nigerians to achieve their educational and leisure dreams.
The Managing Director of Straight Records Limited, Dr Afam Mbanefo, the organisers of the Global Win at the unveiling of the Global Win draw ceremony held recently in Lagos, said the initiative was aimed at driving exposure and hope in the academic and vocational leisure industry.
Mbanefo said, “What we are doing is to bring value to Nigerians playing an important role by helping the country as well and being part of the growth of this nation in our way.
“Nigerians as we know are rated to be the happiest people in the world and we want to drive fun without losing focus, with the strategic objective of trying to make sure that we are bringing this value in academic and leisure environment,” he explained.
According to him, exposure is a vital tool for creating value and education, saying that the more exposed Nigerians are, the more experienced they are in achieving their set goals and objectives.
“We have got a group of people who won international passports that is a prelude to the next game coming by next month, where we will be drawing the international games. So, the way we structure the game is such that everybody who plays in various categories would have the opportunity to have experience studying in the UK, Canada, and America.”
