A budding artiste, Olawale Adedeji, aka Hundred, has said that having to stay away for a long period in order to concentrate on his music is the greatest sacrifice he has made for the growth of his career.

He told Saturday Beats, “I have been into music since 2015 and it has been a journey of ups and downs. However, the greatest sacrifice I have made for the growth of my career is having to stay away from my family for an extended period in order to develop myself musically.”

Asked to speak on his current projects, he said, “I have not released any song in recent times because my studies limit me but I’m almost done with school. But right now, I am working on an apology song for my fans. Many of them have been yearning for new songs from me for a while, and I just want to let them know that I’m sorry for keeping them waiting this long.”

The artiste, who has released over five songs, has also done several covers of songs, including his recent cover of Olamide’s ‘Hello Habibi’. He also stated that Zlatan Ibile’s comment and “follow” on social media was one of the notable moments of his career, as it signified that his efforts had not gone unnoticed.

Hundred also noted that rather than just signing artistes and using them, music executives should support them in achieving their dreams.
