An up-and-coming artiste, Dexterone, has said that his ability to tell unusual stories with his music gives him utmost pleasure.
Speaking in an interview with Saturday Beats, he said, “I love to blend various genres because it makes my music resonate with a wider audience. With my distinct sound, I aim to put out narratives of survival, resilience and hope. My music takes listeners on a journey through the streets, providing a voice for the voiceless and shedding light on untold stories.”
The artiste who recently teamed up with Bhadboi OML to release the lead single, ‘Zero Fugazzi’ off his Extended Play album titled, ‘Soul Food II – Ghetto Stories’, noted that the collaboration offers a blend of compelling storytelling and soulful melodies, delivering a powerful message straight from the heart of the ghetto.
He added that the single provides an unfiltered look into the realities of urban life.
Talking about the highlights of the EP, Dexterone said, “Each track takes listeners on a journey through the streets, giving voice to the voiceless, and shedding light on unique stories.”
