The Auto Spare Parts and Machinery Dealers Association has called on the government at all levels to involve stakeholders in their policymaking processes.
This was contained in a statement in which the association thanked the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for helping in the resolution of an internal feud within the association.
The association’s President, Ngozi Emechebe, urged the governor to fulfill his campaign promises by constructing the 1KM road linking Lagos Trade Fair Complex to Iyanan School-Iba to decongest traffic on the popular Lagos-Badagry Express Way.
Emechebe, who was speaking at a thanksgiving service organised by the association, also pleaded for the construction of the 400 meters St Joseph Abule Ado Link Road to Alakija where 2nd Avenue Festac terminates to ease people’s movement from Island, Amuwo, Isolo, Oshodi to the international trade fair.
He said, “When ASPAMDA is moving, Nigeria and Africa in general are moving, we are praising God for him to come to our aid. We have called upon God to watch over the plaza and be with us as we travel. We are assured that God will make a way.”
