ITALY’S PM has dumped her long-term boyfriend after he asked a female TV colleague for a foursome.
Giorgia Meloni, 46, revealed she had separated from broadcaster Andrea Giambruno, whose lewd and sexist off-air comments were leaked.
Earlier this week presenter Giambruno, 42, was heard attempting to flirt with colleague Viviana Guglielmi, telling her: “You’re so clever. Why didn’t I meet you sooner?”
Then on Thursday, satirical TV programme Striscia La Notizia released a further recording of him telling a colleague they needed another participant on the show. “Let’s have a threesome, even a foursome,” he then says.
He is also heard boasting that everyone at Mediaset, the TV company he works for, knows he is having an affair, adding: “And now you do, too.”
Announcing the split after almost ten years together, Ms Meloni posted a photo with her ex and their seven-year-old daughter Ginevra.
The right-winger, who espouses family values and has been in power for 12 months, wrote a message on social media to confirm the end of her relationship.
Her post read: “I thank him for the splendid years we spent together, for the difficulties we went through, and for giving me the most important thing in my life, which is our daughter Ginevra.
“Our paths have diverged for some time, and the time has come to acknowledge it.
“I will defend what we were, I will defend our friendship, and I will defend, at all costs, a seven-year-old girl who loves her mother and loves her father, as I was unable to love mine.”
