An afro-pop singer, Sean Dampte, has said that his latest album titled, ‘Awoodah: Sean, the Godfather’, will separate the boys from the men.
In a statement sent to Saturday Beats, the singer said, “This nine-track masterpiece showcases a blend of hits that affirm my role as a pioneer in the music industry. One of the highlights of the album is my collaboration with 30BG artiste, Peruzzi. Peruzzi is lucky to be part of this project. His talent and energy have truly brought a unique flavour to the album, but let there be no mistake, this album is a reflection of the vision and craftsmanship that have defined my career.
“I am in my god era. This album is a departure from the norm, establishing a clear distinction between the men and the boys.”
The singer added that more than just an album, the body of work was a declaration. According to him, it signifies a bold new chapter for him, characterised by a mature sound, lyrical depth, and musical innovation.
He added, “Fans can expect an album that not only entertains but also challenges and elevates the afro-pop genre to unprecedented levels.”
He added that the Sean Dampte Live in Concert would hold in April on Victoria Island, Lagos.
It was also stated that the singer was gearing up to release a video for one of the songs on the album titled, ‘Cheque or Chance’.
