Kano witnessed a landmark moment in Africa’s tech evolution with the grand unveiling of SINNTS, a revolutionary social networking platform designed to transform digital interactions.

Developed by SINNTS Tech Ltd, this Nigerian-built application is poised to disrupt the social media landscape by offering users an innovative and monetised online experience.

The launch event attracted high-profile personalities, including Kano State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf and the Director-General of the National Information Technology Development Agency, Malam Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi.

According to a statement, their presence reinforced the growing recognition of technology as a key driver of Nigeria’s digital transformation.

More than just a social media app, SINNTS is an all-encompassing digital ecosystem that combines short-form videos, live streaming, virtual stores, contests, surveys, and conferencing tools.

“A standout feature is the pioneering timeline gifting system, allowing users to earn through engagement. The platform also boasts an in-app wallet for seamless transactions and a unique referral programme that rewards active users,” the statement read.

At the launch, SINNTS CEO and founder Abdullahi Damat emphasised the platform’s mission to redefine digital connectivity in Africa.

“SINNTS is not just another social media platform—it’s a movement towards authenticity, creativity, and financial empowerment. By launching in Kano, a city known for its rich culture and innovation, we are reinforcing our commitment to fostering a dynamic and rewarding digital community. This is just the beginning of a new era for social media in Africa,” Damat said.

He added, “with its innovative approach, SINNTS is set to challenge global social media giants while championing a digital revolution that empowers users across Nigeria and beyond.”
