Marcus Rashford has expressed his excitement after earning a recall to the England squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Albania and Latvia.

The Aston Villa forward, who was dropped from the England squad by former manager Garet Southgate in past international fixtures, shared his enthusiasm on social media Instagram, stating, “Never stop believing. Can’t wait to get started.”

England manager Thomas Tuchel announced his first squad since taking charge, with star players Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, and Phil Foden headlining the selection. Chelsea’s Reece James also returns to the squad after returning from an injury spell.

The goalkeeping department remains unchanged, with Jordan Pickford (Everton), Aaron Ramsdale (Southampton), Dean Henderson (Crystal Palace), and James Trafford (Burnley) named in the squad.

Defensive options include experienced players such as Kyle Walker (AC Milan), Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace), and Reece James (Chelsea). They are joined by younger talents like Myles Lewis-Skelly (Arsenal) and Jarell Quansah (Liverpool). Newcastle’s Dan Burn and Tino Livramento, along with Levi Colwill (Chelsea) and Ezri Konsa (Aston Villa), complete the backline.

In midfield, Declan Rice (Arsenal) and Jordan Henderson (Ajax) provide leadership, while Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace), Curtis Jones (Liverpool), Cole Palmer (Chelsea), Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa), and Jude Bellingham (Real Madrid) add creativity and depth.

Captain Harry Kane (Bayern Munich) spearheads the attack, with Phil Foden (Manchester City), Rashford (Aston Villa), Jarrod Bowen (West Ham), Anthony Gordon (Newcastle), and Dominic Solanke (Spurs) also included.

With Rashford and James back in the squad, Tuchel will be hoping for a strong start to his tenure as England boss.
