Afrobeat star, David Adeleke, aka Davido, has stated that “Nigeria is happy” as he greeted some Nigerians on his way to the venue of his wedding on Tuesday.
In the video shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday, he wrote, “🇳🇬 IS HAPPY”
Dressed in Igbo attire, which is his third for the day, Davido waved his hands as he greeted the crowd in Igbo language, saying “Afam bu David Adeleke,” which is translated in English as “My name is David Adeleke.”
Davido and his bride-to-be, Chioma Rowland, have been building excitement on social media, using the hashtag #CHIVIDO2024, as their wedding is held on Tuesday.
