Nollywood actor, Charles Okocha, popularly known as Igwe2pac is set to wed the love of his life.
The actor also known as Phenomenal, who has two children from previous relationships, announced his forthcoming marriage on his Instagram account today, November 5th, 2024.
Sharing adorable photos with his fiancée, Okocha introduced the wedding hashtag #MICHARLES2024, confirming the ceremony will take place this year.
This development comes as a surprise, given Okocha’s previous reservations about marriage. In an earlier interview, he expressed skepticism due to the high divorce rate, stating, “People you look up to are getting divorced… how do you want me to get into this marriage thing?”
In his words he said, “The truth is I have never been married in my life and I am a happy man. You and I know what is going on these days, you see a couple married for a couple of years and next, they are divorced. People you see as role models are getting divorced and when you see them you are like what is going on? These are people you have been looking up to and now they are divorced, how then do you want me to get into this marriage thing?”
