Nneamaka Nwafor, one half of the recently evicted Ndinne pair from the ongoing Big Brother Naija (No Lose Guard season), has said that she did not see their exit from the show coming at the time it did.
Expressing surprise at their eviction, she told Saturday Beats, “We got the shock of our lives when our names were called for eviction. We did not expect it at all. It was not a good feeling. We felt we were both strong contenders. But, it is what it is.”
She also admitted that their relationship with the Streeze pair had been strained, because the latter put them up for eviction. She added, “If the tables were turned, I wouldn’t have picked them; particularly because we were a bit close in the house. I actually felt we had a good connection, but they still went on to evict us. Meanwhile, there were other pairs that were up for eviction that they could have picked, who were not as close to them as we were. I ‘vibed’ with Mayor (one half of Streeze) and we often danced together. Our lockers were even close to each other.”
Nne also stated that she was not attracted to anybody in the competition. According to her, “I wasn’t looking to find love in the house. It wasn’t my thing. I did not click with any guy in the house that way. I just formed very good friendships with them.”
On her thoughts about ‘ships’ in the house, Nne said, “For those that were in ships, I guess that was their strategy. But, I didn’t think it was necessary to be in one. I believe that one can play one’s game without being in a ship. For those who have it as their strategies, I hope it works for them.”
Shedding light on her next moves, she said, “For me, I am going to expand my existing perfume brand called Perfume Hive. I plan to create my own fragrance here in Nigeria, because I mostly import our perfumes. I am also open to collaboration, and will take any opportunity that comes my way.”
She added that she and her aunt were both rooting for the Mbadiwe twins to win the show.
