Prince Andrew dodges police probe AGAIN despite Duke being named 70 times in Epstein files

A MET police investigation will not be launched against Prince Andrew following shocking claims revealed in the Epstein files, the force have said.

It comes after the unsealed bombshell documents included allegations that he participated in an “underage orgy” and that he groped a woman’s breast while she sat in his lap like “Santa”.

The dossier also includes claims an underage girl was told to give Andrew “whatever he demanded” while on Epstein’s private Caribbean resort on Little St James — dubbed “paedophile island”.

Andrew, 63, was named in the shocking papers 69 times, alongside dozens of other celebrities and politicians associated with paedo Jeffrey Epstein.

Andrew has repeatedly denied the allegations and said he has never met Virginia Giuffre, whose testimony formed much of the lurid allegations in the court papers.

An anti-monarchist pressure group, Republic, reported Andrew to the Met Police after the trove of documents were released.

The group’s head, Graham Smith, argued that King Charles should make a public statement.

Smith said: “To date, there appears to have been no serious criminal investigation, no interview of the accused or other witnesses, and no clear justification for taking no action.”

But the Met insisted no investigation had been launched.

A statement read: “We are aware of the release of court documents in relation to Jeffrey Epstein.

“As with any matter, should new and relevant information be brought to our attention we will assess it.

“No investigation has been launched.”

An order for the bombshell files to be released was given by New York judge Loretta Preska in relation to the 2015 defamation case brought by Virginia Giuffre against Epstein’s madame Ghislaine Maxwell in December.

They were the eighth set to be released.

A total of 300 more pages of documents then dropped last night, delivering a fresh blow to the Prince.

He was named in a list of potential witnesses filed by Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein’s victims and his accuser.

The listing for Andrew claims he “has knowledge of Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein’s trafficking conduct”.

It also claims that he had “interaction with underage minors, including Virginia Giuffre”.

The new documents suggested plans were in place to subpoena Andrew’s travel records after being listed as a potential witness in the defamation trial.

It comes as…

  • A further 300 pages of documents dropped on Thursday
  • An accuser detailed Bill Clinton’s “threat to Vanity Fair”
  • A Jane Doe told how “something horrible” happened to her at Epstein’s house – and he “wanted her to be emancipated”
  • Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, Stephen Hawking and Michael Jackson are among 90 people named in documents so far
  • Other names featured in the documents include Leonardo Dicaprio, Cate Blanchett and Bruce Willis – but they are not accused of wrongdoing
  • Jackon is alleged to have visited Epstein at his mansion in New York
  • Epstein is claimed to have offered a reward to disprove claims Hawking took part in an ‘underage orgy’
  • And the paedophile trafficker is alleged to have told a victim that Clinton “likes them young”
  • Another ‘mystery prince’ is mentioned – but not named in the docs
  • Ghislaine Maxwell claimed that Andrew had visited Epstein’s infamous ‘Paedo Island’
  • She also whinged questions about Prince Andrew go “on and on” in an email

The Duke of York was stripped of his royal roles in shame and banished from public duty by Queen Elizabeth as he paid out millions of pounds to sex abuse accuser Virginia Giuffre, 40, two years ago.

But dad-of-two Andrew — who has always maintained his innocence — has “crept” back into royal life.

He appeared with the whole Royal Family on a Christmas Day walk to church in a shock show of unity.

The court papers have led to calls for the King, 75, to take further action and force his brother from the Royal Lodge in Windsor and even remove his royal title.

The 1,000 pages of legal documents discuss an alleged victim referred to as “Jane Doe 3” — believed to be Virginia Giuffre.

The files read: “Perhaps even more important to her role in Epstein’s sexual abuse ring, Maxwell had direct connections to other powerful individuals with whom she could connect Epstein.

“For instance, one such powerful individual Epstein forced Jane Doe #3 to have sexual relations with was a member of the British Royal Family, Prince Andrew (aka Duke of York).

“Jane Doe #3 was forced to have sexual relations with this prince when she was a minor in three separate geographical locations: in London (at Ghislaine Maxwell’s apartment), in New York, and on Epstein’s private island in the US Virgin Islands (in an orgy with numerous other under-aged girls).”

The files go on: “Epstein instructed Jane Doe #3 that she was to give the prince whatever he demanded and required Jane Doe #3 to report back to him on the details of the sexual abuse.”

Among the documents is testimony from Johanna Sjoberg, who was recruited by Maxwell at the age of 20 to work as a masseuse.

She describes meeting Ms Giuffre, Epstein, Andrew and Maxwell in Epstein’s New York townhouse.

In a deposition made in 2016, she said: “At one point, Ghislaine told me to come upstairs, and we went into a closet and pulled out the puppet, the caricature of Prince Andrew, and brought it down.

“And there was a little tag on the puppet that said ‘Prince Andrew’ on it, and that’s when I knew who he was. It looked like him. And she brought it down and presented it to him.

“And that was a great joke, because apparently it was a production from a show on BBC. And they decided to take a picture with it, in which Virginia and Andrew sat on a couch.

“They put the puppet on Virginia’s lap, and I sat on Andrew’s lap, and they put the puppet’s hand on Virginia’s breast, and Andrew put his hand on my breast, and they took a photo.”

More than 100 people are named in the files, which include emails, legal documents and depositions.

Donald Trump, Michael Jackson, Cate Blanchett and Leonardo DiCaprio are among them.

There is no suggestion that many of those named are accused of any wrongdoing.
