Retinnad, an AI-powered AdTech company, has unveiled Artificial Intelligence solutions to monitor billboard content, provide data, and enhance campaign integrity for targeted marketing strategies.

The unveiling ceremony of Independent AI-Powered Monitoring Solutions (RetiMetrix AMP and RetiTrak AMC) for OOH, DOOH, BTL, Retail Sales, and Broadcast Media was held on Thursday in Lagos.

Speaking at the unveiling, the Founder and Chairman of Retinaad Limited, Abi Iderawumi, emphasised the industry’s long-standing challenges, including the lack of data, inadequate audience measurement, and absence of independent media monitoring.

“Audience measurement is not about standing by the roadside to count people looking at billboards,” Iderawunmi stated.

“With our technology, we can capture real-time data on reach, gaze-through rates, and demographics, ensuring advertisers know exactly who is engaging with their campaigns.”

He mentioned that RetiTrak AMC provides AI-powered, real-time monitoring across billboards, radio, TV, social media, and retail, ensuring advertisers achieve full compliance.

Meanwhile, Iderawunmi noted that RetiMetrix AMP delivers precise audience analytics, tracking consumer engagement across platforms.

“This is a global innovation, competing with the best technologies worldwide. We are revitalising traditional media to keep it competitive in the digital age,” he stated.

Also, the Director-General of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria, Olalekan Fadolapo, who was represented by the Director of Strategy, ARCON, Susan Agbo, emphasised the importance of technological advancement in advertising, particularly AI.

“If you don’t keep yourself abreast of technology, especially AI, that will do what even humans cannot do, you will be left behind,” he said.

Fadolapo lauded Retinaad’s contributions to the industry, noting that its innovations align with global best practices.

“We no longer rely on assumptions. We need complete, empirical evidence, and Rectina is ahead in providing AI-driven solutions for tracking and analytics,” he stated.

According to DG, the ARCON Council expresses full support for Retinaad’s work, reaffirming its commitment to fostering innovation within Nigeria’s advertising ecosystem.

“The council will always support any effort that ensures we remain at the forefront of global trends,” Fadolapo added.

He said the endorsement marks a significant step in integrating AI into Nigeria’s advertising landscape, enhancing accuracy, efficiency, and competitiveness on the global stage.

On his part, the Chief Executive Officer of Retinaad, Manoj Vashisht, noted that the media industry is poised for a major shift as innovations aim to enhance transparency and efficiency for media artists, sellers, and owners.

Vashisht said, “This will positively impact media sales and the entire global industry. It will revive confidence and efficacy for media owners, allowing them to understand the true value of their assets and reposition them strategically.”
