The Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce is set to hold a summit to shape the future of business relations between Nigeria and the United States in 2025.

The NACC in a statement said the event scheduled to be held in February in Lagos will serve as a platform for economic discussions and cross-border trade engagement.

Themed ‘2025 Economic Outlook for Nigeria’, the summit will focus on economic indicators such as Gross Domestic Product growth, inflation, interest rates, employment, and consumer spending.

NACC National President, Sheriff Balogun, will lead the session, while Managing Partner at KPMG Professional Services, Tola Adeyemi, is billed to deliver the keynote address.

Other prominent speakers include the Chief Executive Officer of the Centre for the Promotion of Private Enterprise, Dr Muda Yusuf; President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Mines, Industry & Agriculture, Dele Oye; and the CEO of Zenith Carex Express, Dr Adelana Olamilekan.

The event will also recognise veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe-Damijo with the Creative Industry Legend Award for his contributions to Nigeria’s entertainment sector.

Director of the Enterprise Development Centre at Pan-Atlantic University, Dr Nneka Okekearu, will moderate discussions.

The NACC concluded its February meeting is expected to provide insights for business leaders looking to navigate the economic landscape in the year.
