Wale Adenuga Productions ended 2023 on a joyful note as ‘Superstory’, one of Nigeria’s most-watched TV Drama, was adjudged the ‘Television Drama of the Year’ at the 31st edition of the Nigeria Media Merit Awards, which took place at the MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos, in December 2023.
In a statement sent to Saturday Beats, Wale Adenuga Jnr, the producer of the TV Drama, said, “Since ‘Superstory’ started airing in 2001, we have never stopped working hard to ensure the relevance, relatability and timeliness of our different stories being watched by several generations of viewers from various backgrounds. We appreciate the organisers of the awards ceremony for recognising our efforts, and we assure Nigerians that we still have lots of mind-blowing surprises coming soon.”
For over 22 years, ‘Superstory’ has been providing highly-engaging stories which entertain and enlighten Nigerians home and abroad, which explains why many corporate brands, government MDAs, NGOs and other bodies regularly advertise on it.
