TAG Energy, a Lagos, Nigeria-based oil field services company, has reaffirmed its commitment to developing local content in the energy sector.

During a chat with newsmen at the recent Sub-Saharan Africa International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference held in Lagos, the Chief Executive Officer of the firm, Yemi Gbadamosi, stated that the company remains committed to empowering local talent and businesses through strategic partnerships and skills development initiatives.

According to him, by prioritising local content, the company contributes to job creation, economic diversification, and the overall advancement of Nigeria and Africa’s energy sector.

“At TAG Energy, we remain committed to empowering local talent and businesses through strategic partnerships and skills development initiatives. By prioritising local content, we contribute to job creation, economic diversification, and the overall advancement of Nigeria and Africa’s energy sector.

“Our approach ensures that the benefits of the industry extend beyond corporations to positively impact local communities and the broader economy,” Gbadamosi maintained.

At the exhibition hall, he said TAG Energy leveraged the platform to engage with stakeholders, explore new business opportunities, and showcase its expertise in delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions for the oil and gas sector.

“As a trusted partner in the industry, TAG Energy continues to invest in innovation, workforce development, and service expansion to meet the evolving needs of clients across Nigeria and beyond. We remain dedicated to upholding international best practices while supporting the growth and sustainability of Africa’s energy sector,” he pledged.
