An online educational tool, Gradely, asserts that learning through its platform has significantly enhanced student outcomes.
According to CEO, Gradely, Boye Oshinaga, students can advance by up to a grade level after just 20 hours of using the platform.
Oshinaga in a statement affirmed, “Our technology demonstrably improves student learning outcomes.”
The statement said, “Gradely’s approach identifies learning gaps and delivers personalized interventions to ensure mastery of each curriculum topic. The platform’s new app incorporates gamified and animated content to enhance student engagement, especially in subjects typically challenging for students. An appealing reward system further incentivizes continued participation. Expert tutors customize lessons to accommodate diverse learning styles, thereby providing comprehensive support and fostering sustained engagement.”
“Boye Oshinaga, CEO and a seasoned Edtech founder brings extensive experience from his tenure as the first venture partner at Founders Factory Africa and Vice-President of Venture Garden Group, where he launched Nigeria’s inaugural accredited online degree program.”
The impact of Gradely’s personalised learning is exemplified by Alexandra, a student from Lagos, who overcame difficulties in reading and math through tailored instruction. Alexandra’s mother reports a remarkable improvement, with her achieving 100 per cent in English and 80 per cent in math, and now eagerly anticipating each tutoring session.
The statement revealed that Gradely would unveil ‘Queruo,’ an online coding app for children in collaboration with Sprix Inc Limited, a prominent Japanese educational company.
“Queruo aims to teach Nigerian children coding skills from as young as 5 years old, using Scratch and JavaScript to create games. This initiative seeks to equip young learners with essential digital skills crucial for future career readiness,” it read.
CEO of Sprix Inc Limited, Hiroki Watanabe, underscored the choice of Gradely as their partner in Africa due to its innovative approach and extensive reach.
“Together, we aim to empower young minds through technology, preparing them to solve real-world problems and thrive in the global economy.
“The Coding Hub, an outcome of this partnership, promises to be a transformative educational resource, fostering creativity and proficiency in digital skills among young learners,” he said.
