AN ISRAELI hostage dragged off by Hamas during the October 7 attacks has revealed the horror sex assault she suffered at the hands of a guard.

Amit Soussana also recalled how she was “hung like a chicken” for torture while imprisoned in Gaza for 55 days.

The Israeli lawyer had been hiding in the safe room of her home for three hours before she was eventually found by the vile brutes on that horrific day almost six months ago.

Dragged across the border to the Gaza Strip, she would endure utter hell for more than seven weeks.

As well as being beaten, bruised and bloodied, Amit became a victim of sexual assault while being held captive by Hamas.

Ms Sousana, 40, told the New York Times that a guard, who only identified himself as Muhammad, pointed his gun at her and “forced me to commit a sexual act on him” in a child’s bedroom.

She recalled how she was held alone in the room and chained by her left ankle during the majority of her stay.

But just several days after being taken, Muhammad began questioning her about her sex life and menstrual cycle, before turning physical on or around October 24, according to Ms Soussana.

She said she was ordered to bathe, before Muhammad struck her when she tried to cover herself with a hand towel.

“He kept punching me and put his gun in my face,” she told the New York Times. “Then he dragged me to the bedroom.”

Following the sexual assault, Muhammad allegedly showed remorse, saying: “I’m bad, I’m bad, please don’t tell Israel.”

Hamas spokesman Basem Naim has denied any such allegations of sexual assault taking place towards prisoners.

In a statement to the New York Times, he said it was “difficult to believe” Ms Soussana’s account of sexual abuse, adding that “for us, the human body, and especially that of the woman, is sacred”.

The terrorist group has repeatedly denied that its members committed acts of sexual abuse towards prisoners or victims during the October 7 attacks.

But a United Nations (UN) report released earlier month stated there is “clear and convincing information” that some hostages had suffered sexual violence.

The report adds that there are “reasonable grounds” that some people were assaulted during the raid.

After 55 days of emotional and physical abuse, Ms Soussana was finally released during a ceasefire in November.

Within 24 hours of being freed from captivity, she reported the alleged assault to two doctors and a social worker.

It is also understood that the Israedli spoke to the UN team that published the report on sexual violence against hostages.

It was there that she revealed other harrowing details of her imprisonment by Hamas.

Astonishing footage, captured by a security camera, showed how she fought to free herself from Hamas as they dragged her back to Gaza during their ruthless raid.

When she attempts to escape, she is held down by the masked thugs, who tried to wrap her in a blanket.

They were eventually forced to bundle her in the back of a car, where she wouldn’t be seen again until her release.

A few weeks after arriving in Gaza, she was summoned into a room for a brutal beating by guards who believed she was hiding information.

After having a shirt put over her head and being forced to sit on the floor, she was beaten with the but of a gun.

Hamas guards then duct taped her mouth and nose, tied her feet and handcuffed her.

According to Ms Soussana, the men then reportedly hung her “like a chicken” between two couches and continued to beat and kick her.

“It was like that for 45 minutes or so,” she said. “They were hitting me and laughing and kicking me, and called the other hostages to see me.”

After being untied, she was then threatened with her life if she didn’t provide the requested information within 40 minutes, despite having no idea what they wanted know.

She would be released on November 30 alongside Mia Schem, 32, who was kidnapped from the Supernova music festival on October 7.

Just a day later, the week-long truce between Israel and Hamas expired.
