A real estate firm, Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited, has bagged the Real Estate Champion Award at the Origo International Excellence Award, held in Lagos.
According to a statement, the award was presented to the Chief Executive Officer of Pelican Valley, Dr. Babatunde Adeyemo, by a veteran journalist, Adetola Adeniyi at a ceremony that had in attendance notable personalities who were also bestowed with awards for their achievements.
 Adeniyi, a publisher and columnist, in his keynote speech at the ceremony, dwelled on “The Media: The Last Estate Standing for Democracy in Nigeria.”
In conferring the award to Pelican Valley, the organiser of the ceremony, Adeniyi Temowo, one of Canada’s leading immigration experts, noted that the award was a well-deserved one.
He said, “We are pleased to bestow on you the Origo International Real Estate Champion Award. You are an outstanding individual who has demonstrated that the power in your hands can enact transformative change. As a pioneer, groundbreaker, and trendsetter of the real estate industry, you have taken the entire country by storm with your dynamic and innovative skills.
Responding to the honour bestowed, Dr. Adeyemo commended Origo International for singling Pelican Valley for the recognition.
Explaining how Pelican Valley has continued to win more awards and recognitions, the realtor said the culture of sticking to due diligence, honesty, integrity, perseverance, honesty, high ethical principles, and client satisfaction remained the firm’s selling point and what gave it an edge over others.
