Renowned rapper and social activist, Michael Stephens, also known as Ruggedman, is excited about featuring in a movie titled, ‘Red Circle’, who is is produced by an African Magic Viewers Choice Awards winner, Nora Awolowo.
In the movie, Ruggedman acts alongside stellar actors, such as Femi Branch, Bukky Wright, Debo Adedayo (Mr Macaroni), Tobi Bakre, Lateef Adedimeji, Omowumi Dada and Timini Egbuson, among others.
Expressing his excitement at working with some of his favourite actors, Ruggedman said, “I am excited to work with the stellar cast. I have watched many of them on screen, and I was excited to get a chance to work with them; from the spirited Timini to Mr Macaroni, who I just met for the first time. And, being in the same movie as Bukky Wright is an honour and privilege. I love that it’s a young production team behind the project; from the writer to the producers and director. I am happy to be part of this history being made.”
The film, which is written by Abdul Tijani-Ahmed and directed by Akay Mason, is a crime thriller, which promises an exhilarating cinematic experience.
Other actors in the movie include Folu Storms, Lizzy Jay, Detola Jones, Williams Benson, Taye Arimoro, Inem King, Shamz Garba, and Patrick Diabuah.
