The Great Synagogue, which is considered the third largest in the Europe and the largest in Turkey, has been inaugurated for worship after a-four-year-long restoration in northwestern Edirne province of Turkey on March 26, 2015. The synagogue was in use until 1983 and the restoration was launched by Turkey’s General Directorate of Foundations
